Michael Peel is Director of Liberal Arts at Regent’s University London, teaching across a range of undergraduate and masters programmes. Previously the Undergraduate Course Leader for the BA Practical Filmmaking & BA Screenwriting degrees at Central Film School in London.

Taken a showcase of student work to the Aesthetica Film Festival, Britain’s largest short film festival, where he’s hosted masterclasses and talks.

Senior Fellow with the Higher Education Academy 2020 (and a fellow since 2015). Taught at Royal Hollloway University of London and the Arts University Bournemouth. Has been invited to speak at the Film School Network in Lucca.

An Apple certified FCPX Trainer, a certified Da Vinci Resolve Trainer, a certified Da Vinci Resolve colourist trainer, certified Premiere Pro User and a Tiffen certified Stedicam Operator.

External examiner for the Met University London, previously External for University of Wolverhampton and Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University.

Judge for the Screen Expo South Script writing competition.
